Tape
This body of work developed from the remnants of tape used to create compositions for the Radix wall installations. Experimenting with archival materials (color, glue, tape) and approaches, the resulting works are created with color that is either painted directly or screen printed onto archival tape. The tape is then torn, pierced, and assembled onto paper. The white lines formed by tearing the tape are used as a drawing line and the numerous layers of tape used to build a piece create depth within the color field.
