Sky Fence
In 2009, I began teaching a summer field study in the high-altitude, short-grass prairie of Rock River, Wyoming where I observed, over time, Wyoming's iconic snow fences. Sky Fence is inspired by the snow fence structure and uses mirror with the intention of pulling the sky into physical proximity, while also challenging the solidity of the landscape and our belief in what we see.
