Work > Rubble

This work began as an investigation of and research into waste and plastics recycling that took form through a multi-pronged casting process. Rubble is Another Name for Interrupted Desire is an evolving work composed of an accretion of positive plaster casts of the vacuum-formed residue of my consumer life.

In reconfiguring the work beginning in 2023 (for exhibition in October 2024), I am thinking of sedimentation and what the sediment of my/our contemporary life might look like in 60 million years. I have also begun to reconstitute the plaster waste saved from the process of making this work for reuse within the work - stay tuned(!).
